Twitter Users Ponder the Single Best TV or Film Line Reading They’ve Ever Seen


The translation of a script from page to screen is one of the most magical parts of the process of making a film or a TV show. When the right actor meets the right script, sparks can fly. The room for interpretation left by the written word can lead to truly incredible line readings. It’s this wondrous algorithm that was on Twitter’s mind the other day when writer Sean T. Collins posted a prompt asking for the single best TV or film line reading that other users could think of.

In my mind, the answers to this could be just composed of entries from Heat, The Before Trilogy, The Simpsons, The Wire, Arrested Development, and It’s Always Sunny—but we’re here to give other contenders a shot too, so take it away, Twitter:
