New Orange business strives to transform lives through art

ORANGE — Two women who recently opened Art People describe their business as “magical” because they get to see how art heals people.

The business partners and friends, who serve clients from throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties, are self-described out-of-the box thinkers.

Kathryn Kelly, 33 and Jennifer Narcisco, 37, graduated from Albertus Magnus College with master’s degrees in art therapy, and for about eight years after graduation, they worked together at the same social service agency.

This past winter they opened Art People, their own art therapy and other art-related services business at 291 South Lambert Road.
